Waiver Update
This week we received the exciting news that the County of San Diego and California Department of Public Health has approved Parker’s waiver for Grades SK to 6 to return to on-campus learning. This gives us validation from local and state health authorities that our plans to safely return to campus are suitable for safeguarding all members of the Parker community. It is an important step for us to deliver on what we know is best for our students—in-person learning.
emocha Starts Monday
Next week Parker will launch emocha daily health screenings for all students, both on-campus and at-home learners. On Monday, August 24, an emocha welcome text will be sent to the primary emergency contact’s cell phone number for each student. Upon receipt of this text, the parent/guardian will have 24 hours to create the profile for each of their Parker students.
- Click here to download the emocha User Guide.
- Click here to visit the emocha resource site to view instructional videos on downloading the app and setting up multiple accounts.
- Use the student email address (@francisparker.org) as the username and create a password for each student.
- If you have multiple students enrolled, it is best to set up each account with their respective usernames and then go back through each profile to enable Touch ID and/or PIN once all accounts have been established on your devices.
- For technical support, please contact emocha at helpdesk@emocha.com or call emocha at (858) 927-8500 from 9 am to 5 pm (EST), Monday through Friday.
We also have a robust section specifically addressing common inquiries regarding emocha within our FAQ section of the parkerroadmap.com site.

Parker Community Health & Safety Pledge
Each member of the Parker community has the personal responsibility to avoid inadvertently spreading COVID, and other illness, to others at school. We ask you to please follow Parker’s Health and Safety F.I.R.S.T. program protocols at all times, both on and off campus. In support, we will have each student sign a Parker Community Health & Safety Pledge. Further details will be shared on Monday, August 24.
